God loves people and wants to touch them with his love. The Bible is God’s true word. It contains what we need to live as God intended and has authority over our lives. Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead. By trusting Him we receive God’s forgiveness and eternal life. This is a free gift and is only obtained by the Grace of God and not through works. While salvation is not obtained through works, God created us to do good works after receiving his free gift of salvation. We want to fulfill God’s commands by putting faith and deeds into action.
